Rennaisance

We perform renaissance dances from the whole world of that time.We will present a cut through European renaissance dance culture (France, Italy, Spain, England, Bohemia, Hungary). We dance both dances of the court and folkish dances. These dances are very suitable for any kind of social event with historical thematics.

Types of renaissance dances

The dances of the court presented by Trn v oku will bring you the atmosphere of rich royal courts. Costume setting of the dancers is equal to the authentic models. Dresses are made according to the famous paintings. Merry and swift folkish dances from the enviroment of towns are as well performed in stylized period costumes. The dances will bring you not only the music but also some traditions,habits and stories told in the time of Renaissance. Our dances are made for a contemporary spectator so that he may get an unforgetable and fulfilling experience full of elegance and history. The length of an individual performance is 5-10min for 2-6 dancers. Performance for only one dancer could be devised after consultation.

Other renaissance performance

Training of several easier period dances may be devised within our performance or we can prepare a short fashion show. Renaissance fencing performed by professional artists and fencers.
